Terms of Service

What they are. Browser-based utilities we built and publish at no charge. You may use them for personal or commercial purposes without an account and without limit.

Where your data goes. Nowhere. The tools run entirely in your browser. Files you open are never transmitted to us or to any third party. We do not receive, store, or have any means of recovering them. Because of this, we also cannot help you retrieve a file you did not save.

No warranty. The tools are provided as they are and as available, without any warranty, express or implied, including of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Check every output before relying on it.

The calculators are not advice. The tax calculators produce estimates for general information only. They are not tax, legal or financial advice, do not account for your full circumstances, and may not reflect the most recent changes in law. Consult a qualified professional about your own situation before acting.

Redaction. The PDF redaction tool rasterises the pages you mark so that covered content is removed from the exported file rather than hidden beneath a shape. Even so, you are responsible for verifying the exported file before sharing anything sensitive.

Acceptable use. Do not use the tools for anything unlawful, to infringe anyone's rights, or to attempt to disrupt or overload the service. Do not present the tools as your own or remove notices identifying their source.

Availability and changes. We may change, suspend or withdraw any tool at any time without notice.

Content. The text, design, code, images and other content on this site belong to Kordal Systems, except client work displayed with permission, which belongs to the respective client, and third-party marks, which belong to their owners.

Permitted use. You may view, link to, and quote from this site with attribution. You may not copy it wholesale, reproduce substantial parts of it, or use it to build a competing site.

Third-party links. The site links to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

If you find a vulnerability in this site or in any of our tools, please email [email protected] with enough detail for us to reproduce it. We will acknowledge within three business days and keep you updated until it is resolved.

Please do not access, modify or delete data belonging to anyone else, degrade the service for other users, or publish the issue before we have had a reasonable chance to fix it. We will not pursue legal action against anyone who reports a genuine issue in good faith and within those limits. We do not currently run a paid bounty programme, and we credit reporters on request.

Terms for client engagements are set out in the signed agreement for each project. In general: the price is fixed and agreed in writing before work begins; changes in scope are re-quoted before they are built; and on final payment the work product and the accounts it runs on transfer to the client.

For client work, our liability is as set out in the signed agreement.

For this website and the free tools, which are provided free of charge, we exclude liability to the fullest extent the law allows. In particular, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or business, arising from use of the site or the tools. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the site or tools, which is nothing.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you. If you are a consumer, you keep every right that mandatory law in your country gives you and that cannot be excluded by contract.

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change and, for material changes, we will note what changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal, India have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in the EU or UK, nothing here removes your right to rely on the mandatory consumer-protection law of, or to bring proceedings in, your country of residence.
